The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme-NEIP, Mr.John Kumah has described the National Policy Summit as a great Feedback Mechanism instituted by the Ministry of Information.

He indicated that the platform provides state actors the opportunity to render account of their stewardship and also seeks views on what needs to be reviewed .

The NEIP boss indicated that the NPS is by far one of the greatest initiatives that has increased access to information on key policies and programs introduced by the Nana Addo government.

He commended the Ministry for such a milestone and encouraged also all Ministries, Department and Agencies (MDAs) to take advantage of the platform to interact with their stakeholders and engage them on policy decisions.

He added that the nature of the Summit allows for quality and quick feedback on key policy interventions.

“It has helped the government, you know in engaging with the people and also hear them in terms of their expectations of government and what can be done to improve on our activities.

The NEIP boss made these observations in an interview with him in his office on why he will be participating in the 5th NPS to be held at the Best Western Plus Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi on December 9th and 10th.

Mr.Kumah will make a presentation on the theme: Promoting Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Ghana to enhance job creation.

He has encouraged stakeholders to patronize the Summit as it promises young Ghanaians with business ideas a window of opportunity to succeed with their business plans.
