NEIP Meets Incubation Hubs Over “Youth In Innovative Agriculture Support” Programme

On Thursday, January 21st, the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme-NEIP had an engagement with Private Business Incubators and accelerators over the “Youth in Innovative Agriculture Support Programme under the Ghana Cares “Obaatan Pa” programme.

The CEO of NEIP, Kofi Ofosu Nkansah disclosed new plans and directions to the stakeholders and why NEIP need their support to create more jobs and support innovations.

“We have the mandate to ensure that all our operations and programmes have a direct link to job creation,” He said NEIP under his leadership will make job creation and innovations a priority.

Selected incubation hubs will be engaged to train and mentor applicants of the “Youth in Innovative Agriculture Support” program launched by NEIP in all sixteen regions of Ghana.

The hubs will also be responsible for recommending some of the trained applicant for funding after they are done with the nationwide training.


The National Entrepreneurship and Innovations Programme-NEIP has announced an application for young Ghanaians to apply for the first phase of “YOUTH IN INNOVATIVE AGRICULTURE SUPPORT” under the GHANA CARES “OBAATAN PA” PROGRAMME.

The programme seeks to enlist young people between the ages of eighteen (18) to forty (40) Years who are in Agriculture to be trained and funded. Beneficiaries of the programme will receive an amount ranging from Ten Thousand (10,000) to One Hundred Thousand (100,000) Ghana Cedis.

An application portal has been launched on the website ( the social media platforms (@NEIPGHANA) of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme-NEIP.

The application is open from the 11th of January to the 5th of February 2022 for prospective applicants to apply. The applicants will be taken through training for one month, shortlisted applicants will be funded after the training.
